Thank you to everyone in the St Stephen division who voted for me at the county council elections. I hope that I can repay your support in me and the Green Party by working throughout the year to make St Stephen, Worcester and Worcestershire a better place. Top priorities are congestion and pollution in Worcester, resident parking in the Arboretum and other areas, a safe crossing on Bilford/Astwood Road and generally trying to make the areas a greener and more pleasant place to live.
I should also thank everyone who helped in the campaign, but especially those who work with me all year round talking to residents and keeping them informed. It really is a team effort and we are always looking for more people to help. Local politics is very much about talking to residents and dealing with local issues. I will, of course, also be holding the Conservative administration at County Hall to account, as there are serious concerns about children’s services, adult care and transport.
